1. Are your cheques CPA Compliant?

Our cheques were CPA Compliant prior to the September, 2008 deadline.

2. What types of cheques do you make?

We make laser cheques for such popular accounting packages as ACCPAC, Business Vision, Constar 2000, Padgett, Moneyworks, Mind Your Own Business (MYOB), Netsuite, New Views, Oasys, PC Law, Profitmaker, Quickbooks, Quicken, Simply Accounting.

We also manufacture manual 2-up cheques (2 per page) used for general expense and payroll purposes. ChequeDirect also provides blank cheque stock, complete with security features, for software such as MIPS VersaCheck, MyPersonalCheckWriter, and MyBusinessCheckWriter. If you do not find your software listed here, please contact us and we will endeavour to manufacture it for you.

3. What security features do you offer?

Our cheque stock, DocuCheck, contains superior security features including visible fibres, true watermark, five chemical stain reactants, micro-imprinted border and toner fuse.

4. What information do you require from me?

All the information ChequeDirect requires is requested on the ordering page and is transferred to us securely. We require your name and address, your bank's name and address, your account number, your bank's transit number, the type of cheques you are ordering, the quantity, the colour, the starting number and the number of signature lines.

5.. What is the minimum order size?

The minimum order is 100 cheques.

6. I thought only the banks can make cheques. How can you make these?

In fact, all financial institutions in Canada and the U.S. sub-contract their printing requirements for cheques. In Canada, there are only a few large printers left that control the majority of the market. They include Davis & Henderson and NEBS.

7. Will my bank honour them?

Yes. The cheques meet the CPA (Canadian Payments Association) guidelines in Canada and the ABA (American Bankers Association) guidelines in the U.S. Satisfaction and acceptance at all financial institutions are guaranteed.

8. How long will it take to receive my order?

Standard delivery is 5 to 8 business days. Expedited orders are also possible. Please contact us for pricing for expedited orders. If you rely heavily on cheques for accounts payable and payroll, allow for sufficient time in the process and order well in advance.

9. Can I customize with my company logo?

Yes. In fact you can put just about anything you'd like on your cheques. For logos and artwork that are received in digital format, a $50 charge is added to the first order. For subsequent orders, no additional charge is levied. Scanning and artwork are extra if you cannot provide the logo in digital format.

10. I have a U.S. Dollar account. Do you do U.S. Dollar accounts?

Yes. U.S. Dollar accounts as well as U.S. accounts can be done. If you require shipping to the U.S., please inquire about shipping costs.

11. How much is shipping?

The shipping costs varies acccording to postal code and order size. Please contact us for shipping costs to your location.

12. Do you make any other types of cheques?

Send us a sample and we'll let you know. Most formats are easily adaptable.

13. Do you make duplicate cheques?

No. All bank cheques (manual cheques & laser cheques) are single copy.

14. Do you make small personal cheques?

No. At this time we do not print small personal cheques.

15. Do you make deposit books?

No. At this time we do not print deposit books.

16. Are there any other charges I should know about?

- Goods and Services Tax (GST or HST) are applied to the subtotal.

17. How can payments be made?

VISA, Master card, or cheque.

18. What are your credit terms?

For first time orders, VISA or Mastercard is required to accompany the order. For reorders with good credit standing, orders are invoiced "due upon receipt".

19. What printer can I use my laser cheques with?

Laser cheques are compatible with laser and ink jet printers.
